The York Community High School girls volleyball team has once again been recognized for its success in the classroom, earning the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.
The award honors collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025–26 school year. York also received the honor in 2025, continuing the program's tradition of academic excellence.
This year, 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs from across the country earned the AVCA Team Academic Award, recognizing the dedication of student-athletes and coaches to achieving success both in the classroom and on the court.
