District 205 will Implement Flexible Learning Plans on Friday, January 23, 2026. All District 205 buildings will be closed and all BEFORE school activities are canceled. All afternoon and evening activities will proceed as scheduled unless informed otherwise.

We have continued to monitor the forecast and updates from the National Weather Service for tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026. DuPage County is now under an Extreme Cold Warning From 3 AM Friday to 12 PM Friday. In light of this, we have decided to implement our Flexible Learning Plan. All District 205 buildings will be closed and all BEFORE school activities are canceled. All afternoon and evening activities will proceed as scheduled unless informed otherwise.
As a reminder, you can access all information pertaining to the Flexible Learning Plans on our website under the Resources tab. We encourage all families to take some time to review this information tonight.
Please note that any student who receives transportation for academic programming through District 205, including those who attend the Technology Center of DuPage and out-of-district special education programs, will not be transported as a result.
We look forward to welcoming our staff and students back to buildings on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Information will also be posted on the homepage of our District and school websites, all District social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and X), as well as shared with the Emergency Closing Center and all local media via press release.
