Progress unfolds at Edison School
Take a look at progress unfolding in a time-lapse video of the Edison School renovation project. The work is part of the Master Facilities Plan that includes two new elementary schools, safety and security upgrades across the District, increased space to accommodate all‐day kindergarten, future-ready learning spaces at all schools, basic maintenance and infrastructure needs, and a new auditorium, medical careers lab, and athletic field upgrades at York. Seven classrooms and other upgrades were added at Edison. A ribbon-cutting was held earlier this year with students to commemorate the updated school. Watch for dates later this fall to attend an Open House at Edison.

Health and safety is our priority
Throughout this pandemic, the health and safety of Elmhurst District 205 students and staff remain our highest priority. Elmhurst School District 205 has developed a comprehensive plan aligned to local, state and federal guidance. The Forward Together Plan for 2021-22 offers some frequently asked questions about the reopening of our schools, the District’s health and safety protocols; sanitation and ventilation mitigations and a Dashboard that presents a variety of local COVID-19 metrics. The COVID Dashboard is updated each Friday and organized by school to share information regarding any COVID positive cases. As health information and related procedures change, we will continue to review and update the plan, as well as continue to monitor local health and safety metrics. If you have additional questions, please email Forwardtogether@elmhurst205.org.
