Custodial parents/guardians of District 205 students, as well as District 205 staff are automatically included in messaging (both email and phone calls) sent through this system. Because Talk205 is connected to our Student Information System, parents need do nothing when students move grades or schools. Information will automatically be updated if you have already provided the District with an email address and phone number.

The City of Elmhurst Commission on Youth Presents “Alcohol and Drug Issues in Youth During Covid” - April 22 

The City of Elmhurst Commission on Youth “Alcohol and Drug Issues in Youth During COVID” on Thursday, April 22nd at 7:00pm. This event is free and will be streamed live through the Elmhurst TV YouTube channel.

Alcohol and drug use is on the rise this past year. Attend this event to learn of the different issues facing teens recently. Please email questions to Jackie.Haddad-Tamer@Elmhurst.org.

Jason Relle, LCPC, Clinical Director of Rosecrance, will be the featured presenter. Relle has been with Rosecrance since 2011. He oversees substance abuse and behavioral health residential programming for adolescents. He is a licensed clinical professional counselor that has worked with children, adolescents, and families in various roles within Rosecrance.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University and his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

D205 offers 7-day, breakfast & lunch, heat-and-eat meal bags. Pickup is on Mondays at the following locations

  • York High School, Main Entrance Door #3

  • Bryan Middle School, East Entrance Door #13

  • Churchville Middle School, Main Entrance Door #1 

  • Sandburg Middle School, Main Entrance Door #3

  • Monday - April 19, 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

D205 Summer Fine Arts Enrichment Program Overview
District 205 is thrilled to be able to offer several fine arts enrichment programs this summer for incoming 5th-9th grade students. The flyer linked here introduces the teachers for those classes and provides links for more information regarding schedule and registration. Free Mobile Food Pantry at Churchville Middle School - May 8, and June 5 
United Community Concerns Association invites you to attend​ ​free​ Mobile Food Pantry at​ ​Churchville Middle School, 155 Victory Parkway, Elmhurst,​ ​on following dates:

  • Saturday, May 8, 2021, 10-11:30 a.m.

  • Saturday, June 5, 2021, 10-11:30 a.m. 

Note: The Mobile Food Pantry will offer nutritious food including: meat, fresh produce, milk, and other dairy products based on availability. Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts. 

For the health and safety of our volunteers and your family, we ask the you please follow this process:

  1. Stay inside your car.

  2. Please make sure the trunk is empty and open.

  3. Pre Packed box of groceries will be placed in your trunk

  4. Please do not block driveways

Elmhurst Lions Club Virtual Pizza Party Fundraiser - April 24
Elmhurst Lions Club will host its annual Pizza Party fundraiser on April 24. Proceeds go to support individuals with sight and hearing issues as well as fund local educational scholarships.
