Internet Access

What if a student does not have Internet access on the E-Learning Day?

District 205 has limited numbers of district-issued Wi-Fi hotspots available for family checkout; these are available by contacting the school principal. If students do not have access to the Internet on an E-Learning Day, families should submit an excused absence similar to existing school policies by calling the school attendance line and leaving a message.

If unable to obtain Internet service or a technology device on an E-Learning Day, students will not be penalized in any academic manner; students will be provided the opportunity to make up any missed work or complete alternative assignments when returning to school with accommodations and flexibility provided if needed.
