Whether you have a student-athlete at York High School, are a York parent or an alum, or you simply love York sports, we encourage you to support the York Athletic Booster. The York Athletic Boosters is a parent-run nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the student-athlete experience. Memberships help fund equipment, technology, facility improvements, training resources, and other athletic needs beyond district funding, supporting every York sports program. Membership Levels
Boosters memberships fund a significant portion of the Boosters’ budget. There are different membership levels to choose from. All membership proceeds go directly to the Athletic Boosters to support York athletic programs, not the district.
Mission
Organized in 1974, the mission of the York Athletic Boosters is to support the York High School Athletic program with sports equipment and materials that are above and beyond the norm supplied by District 205. Funds are raised by selling advertising, apparel, and concessions at home football games as well as membership sales, and funds raised at the annual Green Scene event.
Boosters have supported York students in every sport for over 50 years. In the past year alone, the York Athletic Boosters donated more than $110,000 to the York Athletic program. The money was used to grant coaches’ requests for equipment, software, and other items. The Boosters also support various tournaments throughout the year.
