What is the cost for all-day kindergarten?

For the school year 2024-25, the tuition for the all-day kindergarten program is $2,700 per student, which can be paid in full or in monthly installments of $270 a month. Each year, the District will use the Financial Assistance Waiver process to determine if a student is eligible for reduced or free ADK tuition. If eligible for reduced tuition, the tuition is $1,350 per student, which can be paid in full or in monthly installments of $135 a month. 

The following district programs do not require tuition:

Dual Language Program

• The Two-Way Immersion Dual Language program in Spanish and English is housed at Conrad Fischer Elementary School. Students who apply and get accepted into the dual language program commit to attending for all 6 years of elementary school.

Self-Contained Programs

• Most students with disabilities are given priority placement for All Day Kindergarten. Additionally, some students are recommended for specialized programs based on their individual needs, through the IEP process, and will not be required to pay tuition.
• Students with disabilities requiring resource level support are given priority for All Day Kindergarten. The support needed for students with disabilities is determined through the IEP process. Students requiring resource support can receive these supports in a half day program or all day kindergarten. Parents who would like All Day Kindergarten are charged tuition.
• If a student is found to need a specialized program based on the IEP process, the family will receive a refund for the paid deposit 14 business days after the finance department is notified from administration.
