Elmhurst District 205 will be represented at the National level in the PTA Reflections Competition. Delilah Kamins, an eighth grade student at Churchville Middle School, submitted her entry “Shop For Your World” in the Film Production category. A total of 288 entries representing six categories were received at the state level, and 26 entries from Illinois advanced to the National level. 

In addition, Elmhurst D205 had honorable mentions given to four students: 

Elorah, third grade, for her entry “Elorah’s Blood Adventure” in the Film Production category. 

Zack, first grade, for his entry “Drums in the Dark” in the Music category. 

Nathan, fifth grade, for his entry “Staying Strong and Positive” in the Music category. 

Samantha, third grade, for her entry “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” in the Visual Arts category. 

“Congratulations to all the District 205 K-8 student artists who participated and shared their talent in this year's PTA Reflections program,” said Anne Zimmer, D205 PTA Council Reflections Co-Chair. “We are so proud of their artistic interpretations of this year's theme. We look forward to seeing next year's creative entries for the 2022-23 theme "Show Your Voice!"

The PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students, established in 1969. Students submit original works of art in six categories, to be judged at the local, district, state and national levels.
