Our engineers and contractors have devised a plan where no construction traffic will be allowed to enter or leave the York High School property during the times of 7:30-9 am and 2:45-3:30. This is being done to avoid the high traffic volume times around York HS. Additionally, we will restrict construction traffic during Wednesday's “late start” days.

Earlier today, Governor Pritzker issued an Executive Order that requires that masks be worn indoors by all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to P-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status. Exemptions are allowed for students with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Together, we will open the school year on August 18th. We are excited to continue with five, full days of instruction for all students. We also continue to encourage our shared responsibility to foster a climate of respect and acceptance for all perspectives. We will continue to provide our community with updates regarding the status of our Fall 2021 Plan.
