Request Facility Use Login
Starting Tuesday, June 9, organizations can request the use of District 205's outdoor fields, provided all of the below rules and regulations are followed. Additionally, teams and organizations must fill out this waiver. Individual organizations are responsible for requiring, monitoring, and storing/filing the waivers.
All Organizations using Elmhurst School District 205 outdoor fields must:
Adhere to the guidelines below and all guidelines set by the State of Illinois.
Require a signed informed consent from each participant (and a parent if the participant is a minor) which includes a waiver of liability. Each organization must keep a file of all signed consent forms.
All players/coaches need to self-screen for illness. Relevant symptoms are: cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell. If any of these are present, STAY HOME.
Practice groups should be limited to no more than 10 people (including coaches). We advise breaking your team into at least 2 groups, with the groups spaced as far apart as possible, and players within each group spaced at least 6 feet apart, where possible. Instruct your players on where they should start the practice, infield or cage area, prior to arriving at the field, to prevent co-mingling of the entire team.
Do not gather your entire team together for meetings, wrap-ups, etc. Group communication should continue to occur virtually.
Face coverings are required for all coaches.
Face coverings should be worn by all players when not on the field of play. They are not required when actively practicing or playing.
No sharing of equipment or drinks/water bottles.
Areas where players or coaches are likely to gather (near batting cages, for example) must be marked at appropriate intervals. Players should place their gear/bags on the designated markings to maintain social distancing. No more than 3 people, appropriately spaced, should be allowed in each dugout at any particular time.
No touch rule: no handshakes, high fives, pat on the back, hugs, allowed.
Hand sanitizer must be provided. Hand sanitizer should be applied by all players and coaches when arriving at practice and when alternating between practice stations.
No spitting or seeds. Chewing gum is acceptable but should not be disposed of at the field.
Gear should be disinfected with disinfectant wipes between practices.
Players should avoid car pools.
No spectators allowed, unless confined to their vehicles.
Teams waiting to start practice should stay in their vehicles until all players and coaches from the previous practice are in their vehicles or have left the area. If parents are late arriving to pick up players, the waiting players should wait, appropriately spaced far enough away so that the subsequent team can start practice.
ALL STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE APPROVAL WILL BE GRANTED.
VALID CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE MUST BE SUBMITTED
