York’s theatre productions have been recognized for excellence by the Illinois High School Theatre Association and many individual cast members have participated as "all-state" show participants. Students have also been selected for individual recognition by the International Thespian Society. Theater enthusiasts are invited to join "Standing Room Only" (York SRO) - a group comprised of parents and "friends" interested in the continued growth and development of the drama program.
