All parents of English Language Learners (ELL) are invited to join the Elmhurst District 205 Bilingual Parent Advisory Council. The role of the Council is to participate in the planning, operation and evaluation of programs serving their students. The Bilingual Parent Advisory Council is to be comprised of parents and teachers, counselors and community members. The majority shall be parents and legal guardians of ELL students. The Advisory Council reviews the grant application for Transitional Bilingual Programs and Transitional Programs of Instruction submitted annually to the State Superintendent of Education. This parent group meets at least four times annually.
