Student Reporting

The purpose of the District 205 student assessment system is to mark, monitor, and clearly communicate student achievement, effort and progress to parents and students.  An assessment system includes multiple components, including standardized assessments, grade level common assessments, classroom measures, and student self evaluation and goal setting.

Communication of student progress is reported through multiple modes: standardized date reports, interim reports, conferences, portfolio nights, telephone, and email contacts with parents.

Students in Kindergarten through grade 8 receive progress reports every twelve (12) weeks or three times per year.

Students in grades 9-12 receive reports quarterly.
